At the pool!

I took my daughter to the pool near my house. She enjoyed it a lot, and I felt she and her friend R -kun had grown!

R-kun goes to the swimming school every week, so he could swim and put his face in the water without fear!

I was so surprised! My daughter also could swim with her float without fear!

We had a great time today!

My daughter seemed to be very hungry, and she ate a lot!! She listened to me better than usual-maybe because she had a lot of fun today when I took her to the supermarket!

A-chan's birthday party!

We went to our friend's birthday party, and we had a great time there. A-chan's mom made a special cake for us. It was shaped like Walle's trash mountain!! I had never seen such a creative artistic yummy cake, so we were very impressed!

Further more, A-chan's mom did face painting for each of the kids, and my daughter got a rainbow and a cloud on her cheek! It was so cute!

The kids enjoyed it a lot and we took a lot of pictures.

This delightful memory will always remain with me!

Toilet traning ended!

Finally my daughter has learned how to use the toilet! I think our toilet training has ended today!

My daughter has told me she wanted to do poo-poo since early this morning, she tried a few times but she couldn't do it.

She has her pre-school today. And we dropped in at the flower shop on our way back from the school. She told me she wanted to do poo-poo again at the flower shop, but she couldn't do it this time too.

We came back home in a hurry, and after she took some snacks, she said "poo-poo!" We rushed to the toilet, and finally she could do it!!

I don't have to buy diapers any more!!

Good job, my sweet heart!

I gave her my big hug, and she looked like she was proud of herself too!

She looks so happy now!

She started to go to the Kindergarten!

My daughter has been going to her pre-school since this April. She hadn't cried since the very first day of school. I was relieved, and at the same time I was feeling a little bit sad.

But today, she cried when we had to say good bye at the entrance of the school! I was so surprised because I had been thinking she was a strong girl, and she was really enjoying the school.

Maybe she'd been controlling herself to get along with the new situation and the new people, and kind of tension broke and she cried for the first time, I think.

Every time I go to the school to pick her up, she shows me her empty lunchbox. She just wants to show me off she has eaten all the lunch!

She is so precious for me!

We went to Chef Mickey's ( a restaurant in the Disney Ambassador Hotel) with my friends.

My daughter Akari and her friend R -chan will have their birthdays this month, and M-chan's birthday is in July.

At the restaurant, while we were eating, a lot of Disney characters came to our table, and we could take pictures together.

But my daughter didn't like any Disney characters except Minnie.

When Minnie came, she was very happy. But she didn't show much interest in the other characters.

So she only took pictures wit Minnie, though all her friends looked very happy when the other character showed up...

Anyway, it was very great to have lunch at such a nice restaurant with our friends!

I felt very happy I have a girl, and I can enjoy outing with only girls!

Matsusima

I went to Matsushima with my family during Golden week.

The expressway tolls have been getting cheaper, except around the Tokyo area, so we decided to go for a drive and get out of Chiba.

MATSUSHIMA is known as one of the three most famous scenic spots in Japan(Matsusima, Miyajima and Ama-no-Hashidate).

It took over 8 hours to go to Sendai, because we were caught in the traffic jam as we expected.

A lot of people went away for Golden week, just because the tolls got cheaper.

At Sendai, we had dinner, we ate GYUTAN( beef　tongue), and it tasted so good! Gyutan in Sendai was not so chewy, it was very soft, and even my daughter could eat it.

The next day, we went to Matsushima. We took a boat ride there to enjoy the scenery.

It took about 8 hours again to come back to Chiba. But in spite of the traffic jam, we could enjoy the drive very much. We could talk a lot in our car. Because as my children are getting older, they are becoming very busy, so we all haven't made much time to talk with each other at home recently.

Playing dress-up??

My daughter was playing dress-up with her doll this while.
"She is cold. Don't take off all her cloths! She'll catch a cold!
Put her on her shirts, please." I said to her.
Despite my telling her many times, she didn't listen to me and was enjoying seeing her naked doll, and said " Look! This is her belly button, Mommy!"
How funny she is!!
