Playing dress-up??

My daughter was playing dress-up with her doll this while.
"She is cold. Don't take off all her cloths! She'll catch a cold!
Put her on her shirts, please." I said to her.
Despite my telling her many times, she didn't listen to me and was enjoying seeing her naked doll, and said " Look! This is her belly button, Mommy!"
How funny she is!!

Happy Christmas!

I made Christmas dinner for my family today. It was not so great, but my sons seemd to be satisfied with it. I was so happy to see them enjoy it. My yonger son still seems to believe in Santa Clause. He is 11 years old now....
I had to buy 3 presets for my 3 kids. It costs more and more every year.....:)

My last lesson...

I have my last lesson at Moms and kids English club today. I'll go back to my ex-work, so I have decided to stop teaching English. I am nervous about explaining to everyone why I have to stop teaching. Hopefully they will understand.

I've taken child-care leave this year, but I got a phone call from my company to ask me to come back.

So I decided to start my work again. In spite of this economic depression, I think it's lucky that I can get a job easily, even though I have three kids.

I started my club!!!

I started my club named "My Honey" on August the 25th at long last!

I'm enjoying it very much! It's really fun to teach English to mommies and their kids from 0 to 3 years old.
About 11 couples have joined it, but some are absent when their kids catch colds, when they have an errand to finish or something like that.
So, about 8 couples meet together at any one time.

I'm teaching English songs, Finger plays, some crafts, phonics, and how to talk to kids in English for mommies.
I sent out questionnaires asking what they were most interested in about my class and their answers were all different, but most of them seemed to be interested in phonics!
Some mommies who can speak a little English are really interested in English phrases, but those who can't speak it want their kids to be interested in English and to learn it through English songs and phonics.

I have to do my best to live up to their expectations!!!
Also, I am grateful to my friend H-san, ( my student too), who takes care of my daughter during the lesson. ありがとう!

ねごと NEGOTO

The other day, I heard my daughter talk in English in her sleep, and she said "No,No! Give me that, Jun!!" I think she was fighting with her brother over something.
I was surprised very much to hear that, and it was very cute!!

My older son comes home late recently.I had to tell him to come straight home.
I know it is fun to stop on the way somewhere and eat something with friends, but I want him to come back by 8:00p.m. everyday.....
I want him to be both in academics and in sports. He is a member of handball club at school.

On the other hand, my second son is doing very well recently. What is good is he has so much consentration power. He studys by himself and he helps me a lot. When he notices that I am tired, he cleans up around the room (my daughter always makes a mess!).

Miyakojima

I went to Miyakojima from May 1 to May 4.

Miyakojima has the most beautiful beach among the many beaches I had ever been. There are a lot of beautiful fish everywhere in the sea.
You only need a snorkel to see them in the shallows, and you don't need to snorkel far away from the beach.
My daughter loved to swim with her floaty, it was her first experience of it, and she refused our help when we were trying to give her a hand so as not to fall over from her floaty. What a brave girl!

My daughter is smart??

I think my daughter is smart, because when I start to use my PC, she always gets on the dining table and screams "Yah yah!" Yes, it's very dangerous. She might fall dawn from the table.
She knows that if she acts like that, I'll hurry to the table and pick her up right away. It's the easiest way for her to make me leave the PC.
Today, when I was walking along the promenade with my daughter as usual, she stopped and watched the ants marching into the tiny hole.
"Look they are making their house under ground. (みて、ちかにおうちをつくってるよ。)They are working hard, aren't they?(いっしょうけんめいはたらいてるね。)"
After a while, she met her brother on his way home from school. He was with a lot of girl friends then. Though he looks after her at home, this time he seems to be a little embarrassed. He pretended that he didn't know her. But when she was at a steep slope and about to fall down, he rushed to her and helped her to get down. Oh, he is a kind brother. I was so relieved to see that.

Play house

Today, when my daughter was playing house at her small wooden kitchen, she said "chinn!", and took out something from the kitchen.
Oh, she had really watched waht I'd done. I was so impressed by that.

"What are you cooking?(なにをつくってるの。)I want to eat that, Gimme it!(それたべたいな、ちょうだい。)
Yum yum yum!(おいしい、おいしい。)"

Ants

My daughter was getting interested in tiny ants these days. When she finds an ant, she just sits down there and watches it hard. She doesn't want to leave it.

"Finished, you watched it enough.(おしまい、もうたくさんみたでしょ。) Let's go now.(さあ、いくよ。)"

I have to say it again and again.

My daughter can say a lot of things in English, such as scary, hot, dirty, tea, strawberry, shoes, bird and bee.

When we were eating lunch, I gave her something and she said "thank you,"in English! That really surprised me! She usually say "Doumo." Doumo(どうも)is the clipped form of Doumo arigatou(どうもありがとう).She seems to understand English gradually.

At Tokyo Disneyland

We went to Tokyo Disneyland with our friends on April 11th.
It was cloudy in the morning, but got sunny around noon. How lucky!
We really had a lot of fun there.
My daughter was so exited the whole time.

"Look! There is Micky.(みて、ミッキーだよ。)
Let's take a picture with him! (いっしょにしゃしんとろうよ!)
Why don't you shake hands with him? (あくしゅしたら?)
Oh, you're lucky, honey.(よかったね!)

All her friends got in their strollers when we moved, but only my daughter didn't.
It was so hard for me to carry her around the park all the day! She is now over 12 kilos!

"Get in your stroller, please! (ベビーカーにのって、おねがい!)
You'll get tired. (つかれちゃうよ。)
Look, everyone is getting in their strollers. (みて、みんなベビーカーにのってるよ。)
It's much easier for you to get in than to walk by yourself. (じぶんであるくよりらくだよ。)
Don't go away from Mama. (ママからはなれないで。)
You might get lost. (まいごになっちゃうよ。)Hold my hand and stay by Mama.(おててつないで、ママといっしょにいてね。)"

The next day, my legs hurt a little. I wonder whether her legs are also hurting.
She is tougher than me, I think.

"You are so strong, aren't you? (つよいね。)
Don't you feel tired? (つかれてないの?)
What did you enjoy best in Tokyo Disneyland? (ディズニーランドでなにがいちばんたのしかった?)
You want to visit there again, don't you?(またいきたいね。)"

I feel like buying the annual passport for Tokyo Disneyland.
My friend already got it, and if get it, I can go there anytime!

This flower is called Nanohana(なのはな)in Japan. We went to Tokyo Doitsumura the other day. The park was very spacious and beautiful. We could enjoy a lot of kinds of flowers there, turnips(ちゅーりっぷ), narcissuses(すいせん), rape blossoms(なのはな), and so on.
My daughter looks happy at the narcissus garden.

"I'll take a picture for you. (しゃしんをとってあげる)
Smile!(わらって)
Say peace! (はい、ピース)
The sun is so bright, isn't it? (おひさまがちょっとまぶしいね?)"
She was so cute in the flower garden.
I took a lot of her pictures there.
